In 2024, Barcelona is set to host the first-ever Women’s America’s Cup and the fourth edition of the Youth America’s Cup, alongside the highly anticipated 37th edition of the prestigious America’s Cup. Canada is proud to be part of this exciting event, competing against eleven other nations in both the Women’s and Youth regattas.
This international platform provides an extraordinary opportunity to highlight the exceptional talent and potential of our female Canadian sailors, empowering them to make their mark in the sailing world. Moreover, it demonstrates Canada’s dedication to nurturing and fostering our young athletes, preparing them for future success as Canada’s next generation of Olympic champions and competitors in upcoming America’s Cup challenges.
